Abstract：It is well-understood that gauging a symmetry in quantum field theories may lead to inconsistencies due to anomalies. 

Recent research has revealed that these 't Hooft anomalies are intrinsically linked to symmetry-protected topological phases in one higher 

dimension. Additionally, when stacking two quantum field theories, 't Hooft anomalies exhibit an Abelian group structure. In this talk, 

we will explicitly derive this group law in lower dimensions, offering a deeper insight into the structure of anomalies and topological phases

 in fermionic systems.

主讲人简介：王晴睿，清华大学丘成桐数学科学中心助理教授。2011年在清华大学基础科学班获得学士学位，2016年从清华大学高等研究院获得物理学博士学位，之后在香港中文大学和耶鲁大学从事博士后研究。王晴睿老师的研究方向为凝聚态理论和数学物理，特别是强关联拓扑物态及相关数学物理领域。
