Dr. Zhou received her Ph.D. and Sc.M. in the Computer Science Department at Brown University, and a B.S. degree (with high distinction) in Computer Science from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is an member of IEEE, ACM, ISMRM, OHBM, and AACR. She specializes in interdisciplinary and collaborative research on Data Science mainly analyzing Big Data in Biomedicine for enabling data-driven decision making in medicine, health care, and brain science. Her main research areas include: Computational Solutions using Machine Learning, Scientific Visualization, and Interactive User Interfaces.
